Work in a fast-changing area and close to the business with one of SEBs core financial solution platforms as a Solution Developer!

Are you driven by the developing of a business through technology, collaboration and innovation? At Front Arena you will be able to do just that! At SEB you will be part of a fast-paced area which is handling solutions for Commodities, Investment Products and Securities Lending. Front Arena is a strategic and growing platform. Here you are met by the possibility, but not limited, to develop and maintain the Fixed Income business which will be part of Front Arena in 2020. As a Solution Developer you are met with endless opportunities to learn a very important area of the bank. Here you are given the possibility to specialize in an area of interest or take on a lead role.


As a Solution Developer you will work in a dynamic environment with daily interaction with SEBs Trading, Risk and Back office units to increase business value. You and the team´s main responsibility is understanding the business requirements and making sure applications function properly as well as co-ordinate incident handling and problem solving. This means that you will for example:

  • Work with several Trading applications to develop and improve these
  • Collaborate and participate in implementation and integration projects with other departments to increase business value
  • Support and troubleshoot the systems

You will be a part of a cross-functional team including a Lead Design, configuration manager, test manager and developers. In total the Front Arena team consists of 14 people who are all engaged in the business and believe in an open and creative environment to find stable solutions. The team works using agile methods, with sprints lasting four weeks. You will work in modern offices in Solna.


We believe that you are service-minded individual who enjoy teamwork and can communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment, both in swedish and english. 
To be able to learn and work with the different Trading-systems SEB have, we believe that you have had earlier exposure to system management. To work with and develop these Trading-systems, earlier experience of coding in Python or other object-oriented languages is advantageous. You have also encountered SQL in your past experiences. Since you will be working within an area controlled by regulatory requirements, knowledge about these are meritorious. Further, it is a strong merit if you have knowledge about financial trading and products.
