As a SIEM-Manager you will be a key part of developing capabilities to analyse vast number of different events from a multitude of different systems and vendors. Your main responsible will be implementing and configuration of systems to retain, correlate and monitor event logs. You will:

  • Build and lead the initiative of designing the security information and event management platform
  • Create a strategy to ensure the analysis of event data across Tele2
  • Work together with system owners and assist them in defining best practices and guidelines for their systems.


You will be part of the Cyber Security unit, consisting of five other passionate and competent Security engineers. The team is self-organized, working in a creative and flexible environment to secure Tele2´s environments. With your base in the team, you will work towards the whole organization, from developers to managers, to set the processes and methods of work. The position is located at Tele2´s headquarters in Kista, Stockholm.

Technology-wise, you have good knowledge of security information and event management (SIEM). You have preferably had responsibility for SIEM in a bigger organization before and know the in-and-outs of for example logging and analysis of data. Knowledge of general scripting and programming languages, system administration and use case development is positive. Finally, and most importantly, you have a passion for IT-security with a desire to go further than far.
