Do you want to play a key role in SEBs transformational journey to become the most data driven bank in the world? Then this is the opportunity for you, SEB is looking for Java developer within Master Data Management (MDM)

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Java Backend developer, you will develop the next generation MDM-platform. This platform is responsible to collect data from different external and internal data sources. This team works with system integration, data consolidation and enrichment to make the information available for client applications. You will interact with different stakeholders within both business and IT since they are integrating the MDM with Business intelligence and front-end solutions. As SEB is transitioning to SAFE, you will have an opportunity to work in domain, tribe and Squad model.
This mean that you among other things will:

  • Develop and maintain the new Master Data Platform
  • Work on back end integrations and services
  • Impact the growth of the bank through your work

You will be part of cross-functional agile team and work closely with Solution architect, delivery lead and tech lead. The team is multi-cultural, with a part of the team based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

YOUR PROFILE

We see you as an experienced Java developer who has experience in building Java backend solutions, integrations and services like developing APIs, event driven application. Along with Java development you also have:

  • Experience working on Maven, GIT
  • Familiar with any of RDBMS like SQL
  • Spring framework
  • JPA/Hibernate
  • Kafka

We believe that you are an individual who enjoy teamwork and can communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment. It will be a plus if you have a background in Spring boot, Openshift, Kubernetes, docker or any other orchestration tech and familiar with CI/CD tools .You are committed and enjoy learning and improving your skills and have the capability to take initiative as well as responsibility. To be able to communicate effectively with the team, you are fluent in both written and spoken English.
