As a Java back-end developer at SEB you will be developing and maintaining the next generation Master Data Management platform. You will work close to the business and have contact with several other projects within SEB. The architecture is mobile/flexible and your input and solutions are valuable.
This mean that you among other things will:
You will be part of a cross-functional team with delivery lead, solution responsible and a tech lead. The team is multi-cultural, with a part of the team based on Vilnius, Lithuania. Together with the 15 colleagues in the team, you will try new technology and learn from each other. The work is done using agile methods, with the sprints being 2 weeks.
You will be a part of the Customer Cross-solution team which is a heavily focused area within SEB. We see that you have a background from Java development, preferably within Java 8 or later editions. You have a history from developing back-end solutions. It is a great advantage if you have experience with Kafka, Spring, REST API and OpenShift, Kubernetes or any other containerisation or orchestration technology. It is also valuable to have experience with CI/CD-pipelines and regulatory frameworks.
With a personal interest in technology and the area itself, you will come far. We believe you also are an individual who enjoy teamwork and can communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment. You are driven by the effect your effort has on the business and have the capability to take initiative as well as responsibility. To be able to communicate effectively with the team, you are fluent in both written and spoken English.
