As a developer in SVT News and Sports App team you will:
You will be part of an innovative and agile team of four developers, two testers, one UX and one AD, where you´ll work both in mob and independent. Every other Friday you will lab, either on your own or with others, trying out new tech – or anything else you´d like to try out. Also, you will start every semester with 2 weeks of Labs!
You will be located in the SVT House, close to Gärdet in central Stockholm.
As a developer in the beginning of your tech career, we are looking for you who wants to be a part of a warm and friendly organisation. You´re motivated and curious in new technology and loves to try out new ways of thinking and solving problems.
We also see that you have basic knowledge in any object-oriented programming languages, data structures and algorithms. It´s a plus if you have an interest and some experience in App-development from school, professionally or in your spare time; in either iOS or Android.
The “i” in SVTi stands for “interactive”. SVTi develops digital products such as SVT Play, SVT Nyheter och Sport and numerous other services under the SVT brand. Currently SVTi has approximately 120 people working in cross functional, product oriented teams who design, maintain and develop SVT:s digital presence.
SVTi maintains development plans for the interactive products in line with SVT’s overall goals. Future strategies are being developed together with clients, program managers, analysts, project managers, editors, etc. We continuously work with priorities to develop the product areas in the best possible way. We are an important part of the digital knowledge within the company.
We invite you to design studios, workshops, education and inspiration. We like to involve our partners in the idea development. We help to evaluate development wishes and needs based on public and business benefits.
